Your days will include:



Maintaining detailed records of all assets, including physical equipment, software, and other resources. Supporting the acquisition of new assets by identifying needs and recommending potential purchases. Evaluating the performance of assets, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending strategies to optimize their use and minimize risks. Developing and implementing asset management policies and procedures to ensure compliance with organizational standards and best practices. Analyzing the financial aspects of asset management, including costs, depreciation, and return on investment. Preparing reports on asset status, performance, and compliance for various stakeholders. Collaborating with different departments, such as finance, operations, and purchasing, to ensure effective asset management. Identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with asset management, such as obsolescence, damage, or theft. Preparing and communicating budgets for fleet replacement or new capex items to support all operational areas.

To succeed in this role, you must possess:



Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in asset management systems and software. Knowledge of financial principles and accounting practices. Attention to detail and organizational skills. Competency in building detailed Capex budgets. Strong sense of urgency and ability to execute on high priority projects with limited supervision. 10 years' experience (or more) of major contract negotiations in the Fleet Asset field.
