We are seeking a reliable and experienced Owner Operator Driver to join our transportation team. This role involves managing your own vehicle to transport freight efficiently and safely across designated routes. Duties

Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight to various destinations according to schedules and routes. Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to maintain vehicle functionality. Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle maintenance logs. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery status or issues encountered during transit. Adhere to all safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies during operations.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL license preferred. Knowledge of freight handling procedures and securement techniques. Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting to ensure vehicle reliability. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation and compliance purposes. Excellent communication skills for coordination with team members and clients. Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently in various environments.
