The Flat Glass Specialist Trainee is the avenue to a career in the trades. It's an opportunity to start at the ground level and work your way up through the organization. The right person will be responsible for the quality and efficient installation and repair flat glass, insulated glass units, and showers once the training has been completed. Duration of the training program is 6 months to 1 year depending on individual progress.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Ensure Safety remains a top priority with all employees.
• Learn how to conduct accurate field measuring.
• Learn to cut flat glass and mirrors according to specified dimensions and patterns.
• Learn the efficient use of materials and installation supplies.
• Learn to measure accurately and read tape measures and levels.
• Learn to use the latest technology including tablet-based systems.
• Complete invoices, work orders, and measurement sheets using the tablet-based technology.
• Execute Service with Advanced Training (SWAT)
• Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions.

Job Requirements:

• Physical ability to lift heavy objects.
• Good body mechanics
• Can-do attitude
• Be teachable/coachable with a strong desire for success for self and company
• Proficiency to navigate tablet-based technology.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Professional appearance and personality
• Must be 25 years of age with a clean driving abstract

Residential or Commercial Installer must have a valid driver's license.

$39,000 -- $52,000 annually based on experience.
