Job Summary
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being on the road and working with equipment. You'll be responsible for transporting forklifts and related machinery using our flat-deck tow truck, as well as assisting with shop-related pickups, deliveries, and occasional yard duties. Pay will be determined on experience.
Duties
Safely load, secure, and transport forklifts and related equipment to and from customer sites Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the tow truck Assist with equipment loading and unloading at the shop and job sites Pick up and deliver parts or small equipment as needed Maintain a clean and organized truck and yard area Communicate professionally with customers and team members Support general shop operations when needed
Requirements
Valid
Class 5 driver's licence with a clean abstract
- Valid air brake endorsement .Experience operating a flat-deck or tow truck
Mechanical aptitude
or forklift experience is an asset Ability tosafely load, chain, and secure
equipment Physically capable of lifting and working outdoors in various conditions Professional, dependable, and safety-conscious attitude Strong communication and customer service skillsJob Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 24 per week
Work Location: In person
