Fixture Builder

to join our innovative and progressive team.

About Us:

Gauge-Rite (2011) Inc. specializes in the design and build of high-quality precision checking fixtures--ranging from basic attribute check fixtures to advanced S.P.C. systems and custom tooling designed to meet each client's unique needs.

Position: Fixture Builder / Assembler

Reports To:

Shop Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to support fixture and gauge builds Determine the appropriate work process and build sequence Collaborate with other builders and team members to meet production targets and deadlines Set up and operate equipment such as Bridgeport mills, grinders, lathes, and related manual machines Maintain high quality standards throughout the build process Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical detailing Experience with general/manual machining is an asset Previous experience building or assembling check fixtures is preferred Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
