Fixed Operations Manager


H5 Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fixed Operations Manager to oversee our service and parts departments. The Fixed Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of both departments, enhancing customer satisfaction, and driving profitability. This role requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and a deep understanding of automotive service and parts management.


Job Duties:

• Oversee the daily operations of the Service, Parts and Bodyshop departments, including scheduling, workflow management, and customer service.
• Hire, train, and supervise service advisors, technicians, porters, and other service staff.
• Monitor and improve service department performance metrics, including customer satisfaction, efficiency, and profitability.
• Develop and implement service processes and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
• Ensure all service work is performed in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Manage and resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate records of service operations, including repair orders, inventory, and customer interactions.
• Coordinate with parts department to ensure timely availability of parts and supplies for service work.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for service staff.
• Monitor industry trends and developments to stay current with automotive technology and service best practices.
• Develop and manage the service department budget, including expenses, labor costs, and profitability goals.
• Promote dealership services and programs to increase customer retention and attract new customers.

Successful Candidates Possess:

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in business administration, automotive technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in a leadership role within automotive service and/or parts departments.
• Strong knowledge of automotive repair, maintenance procedures, and parts management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze and interpret performance metrics and financial reports.
• Proficient in using dealership management software and other relevant computer applications.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
