Position Description

Mercer Celgar is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Engineering team as a Fixed Asset Integrity Engineer.

Core Responsibilities

Audit, update and develop fixed asset integrity management plans to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Audit, update and develop fixed asset design standards. Identify and lead fixed asset inspections. Support production, maintenance and project teams as the fixed asset subject matter expert. Investigate equipment failures and recommend solutions. Provide input to long term and annual business plans

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Registered with a Canadian Engineering Association (EGBC, APEGA, PEO, etc.) as a P.Eng. or EIT. Several years experience in the fixed asset integrity area with knowledge of best practices. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to coordinate work activities with input from a wide cross-section of individuals within the organization. Familiarity with NBIC, API, and ASME codes and standards.

Pension and Benefits

We provide a competitive pension plan, with base contributions made by Mercer which can be supplemented with personal contributions matched by the company up to a certain %. Our group benefits package, which has no waiting period, includes extended health and dental benefits and an on-site gym. The Salary Range for this position is $95,523.00 - $155,799.00 depending on experience and qualifications. Must have excellent communication, computer and time management skills
