Job Overview

As a Fitter/Welder, you will play a crucial role in the fabrication and assembly of metal structures and components. Your expertise will ensure that our projects are completed with precision and quality, adhering to industry standards. You will work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with a talented team to bring designs to life while maintaining safety and efficiency on the construction site.

What you'll do

Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine specifications and requirements for fabrication. Utilize various welding techniques including MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), and FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) to join metal parts. Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery. Measure dimensions using calipers and micrometers to ensure accuracy in all fittings. Collaborate with team members to perform assembly tasks while adhering to ASME codes & standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that safety protocols are followed at all times.

Basic qualifications

Proven experience in manufacturing with hands-on welding and fabrication skills. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.

Preferred qualifications

Familiarity with machining processes and soldering techniques. Experience in manufacturing environments. Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements and material requirements.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour
