Job Title: Stainless Steel Conveyor Fitter Welder

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fitter Welder specialized in working with stainless steel to join our team. As a Stainless Steel Conveyor Fitter Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, welding, and installing stainless steel conveyors used in various industrial applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong welding skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical drawings.

Responsibilities:

Fabricate stainless steel conveyor components according to engineering drawings and specifications. Perform fitting and assembly of conveyor parts, ensuring precise alignment and functionality. Weld stainless steel components using various welding techniques such as TIG and MIG, maintaining high-quality standards. Inspect welded joints and finished products to ensure they meet required specifications and quality standards. Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs on existing stainless steel conveyors as needed. Collaborate with engineering and design teams to resolve any technical issues or design improvements. Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures. Operate fabrication equipment and tools safely and efficiently. Keep accurate records of materials used, work performed, and time spent on projects. Assist in the installation and commissioning of stainless steel conveyors at client sites as required.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Fitter Welder, preferably in stainless steel fabrication. Proficiency in welding stainless steel using TIG and MIG techniques. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications. Strong attention to detail and precision in fabrication and assembly work. Knowledge of metal fabrication processes and equipment. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods. Understanding of safety protocols and procedures related to welding and fabrication. Welding certifications or relevant vocational training is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients.

Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour
