TELUS Health is looking for a full-time Fitness & Wellness Consultant in Richmond Hill.

The full-time Fitness & Wellness Consultant will be responsible for creating community and teaching a variety of group exercise classes, creating, promoting and implementing health and wellness programs to client employees.




Here's how






Supervise on-site employee gym and oversee equipment maintenance Instructing a variety of fitness classes and monitoring participation Building community through participation in charity and other special events Create and conduct creative, informative and motivational communications, sharing with the employee population Providing one-on-one consultations (i.e. fitness assessments, individual health & fitness programs and support) Instructing in-person and virtual stretch and mobility breaks Leading meditations Planning, creating and implementing a variety of fitness and wellness activity challenges, events, interactive programs, webinars and workshops Reporting of monthly and/or quarterly participation statistics Facilitate the completion of screening forms and waivers for new members and annually Collaborate and partner with internal stakeholders and the Fitness & Wellness Consultants at other sites to plan targeted fitness and wellness programming Work closely with the Benefits & Wellness team to align resources and wellness offerings across Canada and the US

Qualifications

Degree or diploma in Kinesiology, Fitness or Health promotion Current certifications in Fitness Instruction and CPR/First Aid/AED Personal training certification Energetic, confident, reliable, positive, engaging with a passion for fitness and health High degree of self-motivation and initiative and ability to work independently Strong organization and time management skills required Competent in administrative tasks and prioritizing Excellent communication (both written and verbal), presentation, and customer service skills Strong computer skills with ability to adapt to and learn various software applications Experience in the corporate fitness & wellness field is a must

Salary Range: $19-$29
