Fitness Consultant

The Fitness Consultant is responsible for promoting and selling memberships to potential new members and selling renewals/upgrades to current gym members.



Creates a positive and exciting introduction to Gold's Gym for prospective members Follows up on leads, identifies and pursues opportunities to invite potential members to visit the club Identifies, establishes and builds relationships with local businesses in the community to promote health and fitness to their employees Responsible for achieving membership enrolment monthly targets Responsible for communicating and upholding company standards, and ensuring a positive atmosphere. Maintains highest level of professional ethics and compliance with all club rules and policies. Ensures safety of members and club property. Demonstrates excellent customer service skills.

Requirements

High School Diploma with preference for college or university education in related field Demonstrates the ability to confidently initiate, and build rapport with members and relationships with businesses Proven ability to follow a sales process and overcome sales objections Possess creativity, an outgoing personality, high-energy, and positive attitude Possesses exceptional organizational skills with the ability to be a self-starter Has the capacity to work with a team as well as independently You must be a person of high integrity with the competency to multi-task Ensure adherence to the standard operating procedures * Enthusiasm for personal health and fitness
