Fitness Coaches/ Instructor/ Teacher
Job Description
My Gym is currently hiring a children's fitness coach/instructor. You will be responsible for teaching gym classes, planning and hosting special events and birthday parities, for children 6 weeks to 12 years old. In addition to teaching, you will be responsible for helping meet monthly team goals in promotions and sales. Background in gymnastics, dance, sports and working with children would be considered an asset. Employees must be flexible in hours and location. Majority of the shifts are at our location, with some bookings in the surrounding area.Job Type / CategoryPosition Requirements:
- Ability to work 20-35 hours per week, including weekends and days and evenings
- Highly energetic and team oriented
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills
- Experience working with children
- Background in fitness; gymnastics, sports, dance, cheer, athletics, martial arts, or related field
- Effective leadership and motivational skills
- Effective time management
- Own vehicle is an asset
- Able to lift 50lbs
- CPR certified is an assets
- Child abuse registry check
- Criminal Record check
