The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
  • Planning and leading fieldwork related to fish, fish and aquatic habitat
  • Analyzing and interpreting data and preparing technical reports, memos and other project deliverables
  • Assisting with the preparation of project budgets and proposals
  • Preparing and supporting our clients with project assessment (YESAA) and permitting (Fisheries Act) of their projects
  • Data analysis and reporting
  • Working effectively in a team environment to meet goals of the project productively and safely
  • Participating proactively in EDI\'s health and safety program
Requirements:
  • A passion for your career and a desire for life-long learning
  • An undergrad degree with 5 years of experience or Master\'s Degree with 3 years of experience in a related discipline
  • Fish and/or aquatic biology expertise. Experience in consulting would be an asset.
  • A proven record of professional report writing and data analysis
  • Registration or eligibility for registration as a R.P. Bio or as P. Biol. considered an asset
