Credentials

Valid Transport Canada Commercial Pilots License
Valid Transport Canada Group 1 Instrument Rating
Valid Transport Canada Multi Engine rating
Valid Transport Canada Class 1 Medical
Must have one of the following: valid ATPL; SAMRA & SARON; or IATRA written and passed in the past two years
Must be able to travel without restrictions to all the operated destinations
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
Must have completed a college diploma or university degree from a credited Canadian institution related to aviation studies
Must meet Transport Canada English proficiency standard (level 6)
Must have minimum 250 hours
Completed FDMET & FDOPS exams with pervious commercial flight dispatching experience are considered an asset
Pervious commercial aviation operation experiences required
Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position which include bending, climbing and lifting
Must meet pre-employment drug & alcohol testing requirements

Responsibilities
Tasks
Providing assistance wherever the operation requires support.
Support positive crew resource management (CRM) practices by fostering teamwork, clear communication, and a safety-first mindset.
Assist the Captain in the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft in accordance with company policies, standard operating procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Perform pre-flight inspections, flight planning, and system checks to ensure aircraft readiness.
Monitor aircraft systems, weather conditions, fuel status, and navigation throughout all phases of flight.
Communicate effectively with Air Traffic Control (ATC), crew members, and ground personnel to support safe flight operations.
Share responsibility with the captain for decision-making in normal, abnormal, and emergency situations.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols, security measures, and applicable aviation regulations.
Meet aircraft upon arrival and assist with unloading and loading flight line aircraft.
Retrieve oil and fuel for radial engine aircraft and assist with fuelling and oiling, including verification of oil levels.
During winter operations, retrieve frost fighters and install as required to warm aircraft.
Assist in de-icing procedures, including sweeping wings and removing snow and ice with mop or broom.
Assist in repositioning aircraft, connecting heaters, and installing wing tents and plugs.
Fly as additional crew on various aircraft to remote destinations, assisting with unloading upon arrival.
Operate tugs, forklifts, fuel trucks, and other equipment only after receiving proper training and practice.
