What you\'ll be doing\xe2\x80\xa6

  • Be an end-to-end product manager for the $19B secured line of credit portfolio, which generates $360MM+ in annual net interest margin
  • Responsible for defining strategies to drive ScotiaLine account acquisition and credit limit utilization
  • Manage financial, operational and customer experience dimensions of the 548,000 account portfolio
  • Become business subject matter expert to inform the design and delivery of a new technology core platform for the product line
  • Grow the business by evolving our product offer to better meet the needs of customers through process optimization, enhanced features, and marketing strategies
  • Undertake end-to-end ownership over the Scotia Total Equity Plan including features and benefits, sales penetration and product positioning
  • Transform our Scotia Total Equity Plan to increase its value to customers and anchor its position as a market leading home equity solution
  • Simplify STEP to make it easier for customers to understand and take advantage of the benefits
  • Partner with teams from across the organization to use STEP as an entry point to develop deep customer relationship that span the full household
  • Set, measure and track performance metrics for secured ScotiaLine and STEP to manage performance
  • Champion a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge
  • Understand how the Bank\'s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions
  • Actively pursue effective and efficient operations of your respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank\'s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk
  • Champion a high-performance environment and contributes to an inclusive work environment
What you need to succeed\xe2\x80\xa6
  • University Degree and 5+ years of financial services or relevant work experience
  • Business strategy and financial acumen
  • Experience in product management and knowledge of the real estate secured lending business and process is an asset
  • Innovative and critical thinking skill with a track record of driving results
  • Ability to navigate complex organizations with several stakeholders to achieve results
  • Capability to understand and drive business growth through our multiple sales channel strategy
