As apart of our commitment to the equitable hiring of First Nations, Metis, and Inuit peoples and authentically contributing to truth and reconciliation, we have thoughtfully crafted the position of Senior Truth and Reconciliation Manager to join our National Inclusion, Diversity & Equity team from anywhere on Turtle Island.

As the Manager, you\'re accountable for leading the implementation of our organizations\' Truth and Reconciliation Action Plan (T&RAP), a multi-year strategy that furthers our commitment to responding to the Truth & Reconciliation Commission\'s call the Action #92 for the corporate sector.
You\'ll be working collectively with the Director of ID&E, T&RAP Executive Sponsor, the National Indigenous People Network, team members from the Talent Attraction, Human Resources, Indigenous Client Services Practice, Social Impact, Procurement, Communications & Marketing, Project Management, our geographical leadership teams, and our Executive ID&E council.
More of what you\'ll be doing includes:


  • Plan, facilitate, and lead regular discussions with program owners and key stakeholders to support T&RAP progress, coordination, and communication
  • Form, facilitate, and engage Indigenous Advisory Council to govern the T&RAP and achieve our commitment to ongoing consultation with Indigenous employees and communities
  • Identify, launch, nurture and maintain strong relationships with external Indigenous organizations and partnerships to advance T&RAP goals
  • Develop and deliver approach to measuring, tracking, and sharing T&RAP progress and impact in a manner that honors and upholds Indigenous methodologies and cultural traditions
  • Identify risks / opportunities and facilitate discussions on how to address in collaboration with program owners
  • Play a leadership role in developing education, training, and awareness-building to advance truth & reconciliation at a national level
  • Serve as the ID&E lead working with the Indigenous Peoples Network to enable them in their role as strategic inclusion partners
  • Report on T&RAP progress to key leadership teams, internal KPMG employees, and the market
  • Lead external certification processes as required

This is a virtual role with occasional travel as required for business purposes.
