We\'re looking for you to join our team as a Commercial Credit Analyst from select locations across Canada.
As the Analyst, you\'ll be assisting our Bank\'s loan records up to date. You\'ll be handling different tasks related to loans, such as processing service requests and doing annual reviews. Additionally, you\'ll recommend the best options for your team to meet your clients needs while adhering to our rules and guidelines.
Your Duties will Include:

  • Following up on outstanding issues in files according to audit policies, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Monitoring client\'s borrowing activities, identifying opportunities, and retaining existing clients during annual reviews
  • Reviewing financial statements, analyzing risk, and evaluating profitability
  • Addressing potential risks like arrears or declining financial results
  • Evaluating high-risk requests and proposing solutions in collaboration with internal teams
  • Authorizing, declining, or recommending service requests
  • Maintaining relationships with colleagues and fostering teamwork
  • Coaching and mentoring team members by sharing experience and best practices
  • Staying updated on economic trends and their impact on clients

REQUIREMENTS

  • Self-Identify as First Nations, Metis, or Inuit
  • Strong oral/written communication skills
  • Post-secondary degree, diploma, or certification in Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in commercial lending
  • Accounting knowledge and ability to analyze financial statements
  • Ability to identify and solve problems pro-actively with good judgment
  • Demonstrated flexibility to adapt to a changing environment
  • Good time management skills and ability to set priorities to meet tight deadlines
