Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in meal preparation and contribute to creating delightful dining experiences for our guests. This position requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menu specifications. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety standards and regulations. Assist in the planning and execution of daily meal preparation, including portion control and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service times. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed. Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar role within the food industry or restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety practices. Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment while maintaining quality standards. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. A passion for cooking and creativity in meal preparation is highly desirable.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
