First Cook at The Greens at Renton is a vital role that contributes to our mission of providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Located just outside of Simcoe, ON this position is essential for maintaining the high standards of food quality and service that our patrons expect.
Job Summary:
Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations.
Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed to maintain health standards.
Participate in catering events, providing excellent service to guests during special occasions.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff as needed.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies.
Qualifications
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and culinary techniques.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service.
Experience in fine dining or catering settings is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools.
Must have food handlers certificate.
