Rodd Miramichi River is currently seeking a Cook 1 to join our team. Reporting to the Executive Chef, the Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of foods for our Restaurant, 1809.
Essential Functions
Prep and cooks required items in accordance with menu, using grill, ovens, and fryers
Maintains continual cleaning and sanitizing of surrounding work area
Assists with culinary auditing, temperature checking of food items within kitchen, stations, fridge's and freezers
Adherence to Rodd's policies and procedures, including Occupational Health and Safety and Food Safety
May perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
2+ years of line cook experience
Working toward Red Seal considered an asset
Valid WHMIS, Food Safe Advanced Certification, First Aid Certification considered an asset
Must be able to work effectively and efficiently, supervised and unsupervised
Must be flexible, evening and weekend work
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.59 per hour
