What you'll be doing:



prepping food items for service; preparing food according to standardized recipes and menu specifications; adjusting cooking methods based on customer preferences or dietary restrictions; plating dishes according to specifications; training staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food; planning menus, determining size of food portions, estimating food requirements and costs; maintaining a clean work area as required by provincial health standards; performing assigned opening and closing duties; checking inventory and making sure ingredients are available for daily use; reporting low stock and helping with inventory management; collaborating with the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations; completing all mandatory food hygiene and safety training that must be kept up to date; such other similar or related duties as may be required from time to time

The person we are looking for is:



Passionate about Food & Beverage and a minimum of 3-5 years of similar work experience. Previous Banquet experience is considered an asset. Highly organized with great attention to detail. Possesses the proven ability to plan and prioritize. A high school diploma or GED would be a plus. Basic knowledge of culinary operations, a team player, hard worker, and detail oriented. Is flexible and available for different days and shifts. Food safe certification
