What you will be doing:

• Overseeing our bread program, meeting daily production requirements.
• Possess experience for bread baking (scaling, mixing, dividing, proofing, shaping, scoring and baking)
• Maintaining food standards through use of standardized food recipes and safe food handling practices.
• Maintains food cost through the minimization of food waste.
• Assists the Pastry Chef in menu creations.
• Consistently offer professional, friendly and proactive service
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment and ensures that all Health & Safety standards are met are met.

Your experience and skills include:

• 4 years of pastry in similar hotel environment with Journeyman\xe2\x80\x99s papers and valid trade qualifications
• Able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
• Food Safe certification an asset
• Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts.
• Energetic, self-motivated, out-going, team-player, attention to detail
