First Aid Instructor
Job Description
Little Lungs First Aid and our sister company, Big Hearts First Aid are Canadian Red Cross Training Partners and Instructor Development Centres. We are looking to add instructors to our Lethbridge team to facilitate our Red Cross Standard First Aid courses, 1 Hour Little Lungs CPR & Choking Workshops and Red Cross Youth Courses (including Stay Safe and Babysitter).
This is a subcontractor position - you design your schedule. Weekday and weekend availability is required.
A Red Cross Instructor certificate is required to teach First Aid.
To teach Workshops we offer comprehensive and thorough training to prepare you for the role. Teachers, teaching students, and candidates with teaching experience do well in this role. Candidates with experience in healthcare including nurses, paramedics, and RTs also do well in this role. Healthcare experience is NOT required. Teaching experience is an asset.
A vehicle, valid driver's license, and criminal record check are required
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Weekends as needed
