Job Description
Willow Spring Construction is looking for a full-time Construction First Aid Attendant
(level 2 minimum) to join our highly dedicated fast-paced energetic team in downtown Vancouver. Since establishment in 1987, we have specialized in commercial construction projects in the British Columbia. If you are a driven, positive individual with excellent attention to detail then we may have an opportunity for you.
Job Duties
Monitor safety performance of on-site workers to determine vulnerability Identify potential hazards and hazardous materials Perform accident investigations to gauge measures that need to be taken to prevent them the next time Educate workers about the company's safety policy and procedures and essential safety standards Inspect safety related complaints such as spills, incidents, etc. Conduct safety training and orientations Assist with jobsite labour and carpentry tasks including cleanup, construction of handrails, etc.
Requirements
Experience working on construction job sites Minimum level 2 OFA Professional attitude and superior communication skills Effective problem-solving skills, with the ability to make good decisions that minimize or eliminate Ability to perform labour and carpentry tasks, cleaning, stacking moving materials
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
