Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fireplace Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing a variety of fireplaces, ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. This role requires attention to detail, technical proficiency, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in residential and commercial settings.

Duties

Install fireplaces, including gas, electric, and wood-burning units, according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards Measure and prepare installation sites to ensure proper fit and function Connect venting systems, gas lines, electrical wiring, and other components as required Conduct safety inspections post-installation to verify proper operation and compliance with codes Communicate effectively with clients regarding installation procedures and maintenance tips Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition Complete all necessary documentation related to installations and inspections

Requirements

Proven experience in fireplace or appliance installation preferred Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and best practices for fireplace installation Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints Strong mechanical skills with attention to detail Excellent problem-solving abilities and manual dexterity Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces safely Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team Nice-to-have skills include familiarity with HVAC systems or previous experience in home improvement trades
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
