Job Description

We are in search of the right candidate to join our Installation team and provide support to our lead installers! The successful candidate will have a positive attitude, motivation and the drive to succeed and grow with the Wood and Energy team.

Responsibilities

Install fireplaces, inserts, stoves, and venting systems according to manufacturer specifications and safety codes. Perform site assessments to determine proper placement, ventilation, and installation requirements. Safely operate hand and power tools during framing, venting, and finishing work. Work closely with customers to explain the installation process, answer questions, and provide maintenance tips. Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues on-site as needed. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, both during and after installations.
Requirements

Previous experience in fireplace, HVAC, or construction installation preferred Strong ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately Familiarity with hand tools and their proper usage Basic knowledge of safety regulations related to fireplace installation Physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs, work at heights, and in tight spaces Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Willingness to learn and complete any required training or certifications
