We are seeking a 4th year and Journeyman Fire Sprinkler Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing fire sprinkler systems in residential and commercial settings. This role requires a strong willingness to learn construction techniques and safety, along with the ability to read schematics and blueprints. The Fire Sprinkler Technician plays a vital role in ensuring safety standards are met and systems operate efficiently. Candidates with experience in manufacturing, construction, or maintenance are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair fire sprinkler systems according to safety codes and standards
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute installation and maintenance tasks
Use hand tools, tape measures and listen to instruction.
Maintain detailed documentation of work performed and system conditions
Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely
Perform routine maintenance on existing fire sprinkler systems to ensure ongoing compliance and functionality
Skills
Mechanical knowledge would be an asset
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately
Experience with hand tools and working from ladders
Familiarity with construction environments is a plus
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during installations or repairs
Understanding of schematics related to fire suppression systems
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
