Position Overview:



Allied Projects is seeking an experienced

Fire Protection Project Coordinator

with a strong background in

sprinkler systems

to ensure the smooth execution of fire protection projects, including service contracts, small projects, and service calls. In this key role, you will leverage your technical expertise in sprinkler systems to manage project timelines, resources, and communication between internal teams, technicians, suppliers, and clients. Your ability to manage multiple priorities and your deep understanding of fire protection systems will be critical in ensuring the successful and efficient delivery of services.

Key Responsibilities:



Project Coordination:

Act as the primary point of contact for clients, technicians, and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project scope, timelines, and requirements.

Technical Expertise:

Utilize your knowledge of sprinkler systems to support project managers and technicians with troubleshooting, technical advice, and system design considerations. Ensure compliance with NFPA codes and fire protection standards.

Material and Equipment Coordination:

Obtain supplier quotes, manage material orders, and coordinate timely delivery of equipment for projects and service calls.

Scheduling and Resource Allocation:

Develop and maintain service call schedules and project timelines, ensuring proper resource allocation and project flow.

Troubleshooting and Support:

Provide real-time technical support to technicians during service calls and installation, ensuring swift resolution of any issues related to fire protection systems.

Safety Compliance:

Ensure that all projects and service calls comply with safety protocols and work with the Safety team to address any potential hazards on-site.

Documentation Management:

Maintain accurate project documentation, including service records, material orders, equipment delivery, and any client communication.

Client Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met, and issues are addressed proactively to ensure customer satisfaction.

Team Collaboration and Mentorship:

Mentor junior staff and foster a collaborative environment that encourages professional growth and technical expertise.

Qualifications:



Fire Protection and Sprinkler System Knowledge:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a fire protection role, with a solid understanding of sprinkler systems, NFPA codes, standards, and installation procedures.

Journeyperson Sprinkler System Installer

would be considered an asset.

Project Coordination Experience:

Proven experience in coordinating multiple service contracts and small projects, with the ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.

Strong Communication Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise with clients, technicians, and suppliers effectively.

Leadership and Team Support:

Demonstrated ability to lead teams, mentor junior technicians, and foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Customer-Focused:

Strong customer service and relationship-building skills to ensure client satisfaction and long-term business relationships.

Proficiency in Technology:

Familiarity with Windows programs (Excel, Word, Office), Bluebeam, Adobe, and cloud-based storage systems for documentation management and project tracking.

Security Clearance:

Ability to obtain a valid security clearance.
