Job Description
We are expanding our
in-house fire alarm installation and service division
and are seeking aCFAA-certified Fire Alarm Technician
to lead installations, testing, verification, and ongoing service work across commercial and industrial sites in Alberta.This role is ideal for a technician who can
work independently, pull permits, and sign off systems
in accordance with Alberta Safety Codes and CAN/ULC standards.Key Responsibilities
------------------------
Install, modify, test, and verify fire alarm systems
Perform inspections in accordance with
CAN/ULC-S536 & S537
Commission and troubleshoot fire alarm panels (Mircom, Edwards, Siemens, Fire-Lite, etc.)
Complete verification reports and as-built documentation
Coordinate with AHJs, inspectors, and project managers
Train and mentor junior technicians
Ensure compliance with
Alberta Fire Code
and Safety Codes ActBenefits

Support for additional certifications and training? CFAA Registered Fire Alarm Technician (Active)
? Minimum 3-5 years fire alarm experience
? Strong knowledge of ULC-S524, S536, S537
? Valid Alberta driver's license
? Ability to work independently and sign off systems
? Strong documentation and reporting skills
