Job Description

As a Finishing Foreman at Potvin Construction, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality projects on time by leading, motivating, and mentoring construction crews and subcontractors in our finishing division. This position requires strong leadership, a thorough understanding of finishing and construction processes, and the ability to juggle competing demands with professionalism and efficiency.

Primary responsibilities:

Lead, coordinate, and supervise employees and subcontractors on site

Ensure the highest standards of quality and installation are met

Support project planning and provide input on project management activities

Participate in safety meetings, and lead or assist in incident investigations and reviews

Assist the Project Coordinator in reviewing and updating construction schedules

Ensure all team members receive appropriate training and development

Attend weekly and quarterly production meetings

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience in construction, preferably in finishing or carpentry

Proven experience supervising teams in a construction environment

Bilingual (English/French) and asset

Strong background in carpentry and siding installation

Exceptional organizational and time management skills

Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities

Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities

Positive, professional, and customer-oriented attitude

Self-motivated, reliable, and hard-working with a team-first mindset
