Job Title: Finish Carpenter for Harrison Custom Contracting Company Description: Harrison Custom Contracting is a reputable construction company based in Orillia that specializes in building custom homes for clients in the Orillia and Muskoka region. Our company is known for its commitment to quality craftsmanship, attention to detail, and exceptional customer service. : We are currently seeking an experienced Finish Carpenter to join our team. The Finish Carpenter will be responsible for installing and finishing trim, molding, cabinetry, and other high-end finishes in custom homes. Responsibilities:
- Install and finish trim, molding, cabinetry, and other high-end finishes in custom homes
- Collaborate with other construction professionals, including architects, project managers, and other carpenters, to ensure that projects are completed according to specifications and timelines
- Ensure that safety protocols are followed at all times on job sites
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, costs, and materials used
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns or issues that may arise
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in finish carpentry on custom homes
- Excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
- Knowledge of building codes, safety protocols, and construction methods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver\'s license and reliable transportation
