Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Finish Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for completing interior and exterior finishing work on residential, commercial, and restoration projects. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work with various tools and materials to deliver high-quality craftsmanship. The Finish Carpenter will collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to execute finishing tasks accurately Install cabinetry, flooring, tile, siding, and other finish elements according to specifications Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, and masonry work as needed for project completion Conduct restoration work including drywall repair, painting, caulking, and surface finishing Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC machines, and other equipment safely and efficiently Assist with framing, roofing, plumbing, electrical work, and other related tasks when required Measure spaces precisely for installation of fixtures and finishes Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements

Proven experience in carpentry, woodworking, or related construction fields with a focus on finishing work Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings effectively Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and specialized equipment such as rebar benders or tile saws Knowledge of various construction disciplines including masonry, roofing, siding, plumbing, electrical systems, and restoration techniques Strong understanding of construction estimating processes is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during material handling and installation tasks Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship Valid driver's license preferred for site travel when necessary Maintenance Person experience or experience in manufacturing is advantageous but not required
