Overview


We are seeking a skilled Finish Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in detailed carpentry work, including installing cabinetry, finishing surfaces, and working with various building materials. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to high-quality residential and commercial projects, ensuring craftsmanship meets client specifications and industry standards. The Finish Carpenter will collaborate closely with project managers, other trades, and clients to deliver exceptional results.

Responsibilities



Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to execute precise carpentry tasks Install cabinets, countertops, molding, trim, and other finish carpentry elements Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, and masonry work as needed for project completion Conduct restoration work including refinishing and repairing existing structures Apply construction painting, caulking, and siding to ensure finished surfaces meet quality standards Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC machines, and other equipment safely and efficiently Measure accurately for flooring installation, tile laying, and woodworking projects Assist with roofing, siding, plumbing rough-ins, electrical fixtures, and HVAC components when required Estimate material needs and assist with construction estimating tasks Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety protocols at all times Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks and maintenance person repairs as necessary

Qualifications



Proven experience in carpentry or woodworking with a strong understanding of construction principles Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings effectively Familiarity with concrete forming, masonry, roofing, siding installation, and tile laying is preferred Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, CNC equipment, and construction machinery Knowledge of electrical systems and plumbing is a plus but not mandatory Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights when required Strong attention to detail with excellent craftsmanship skills Prior experience in restoration or renovation projects is advantageous Valid driver's license is preferred for job site travel opportunities

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.03-$28.00 per hour
