We are seeking an experienced Finish Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in detailed woodworking, cabinetry, and finishing work, contributing to high-quality residential and commercial projects. This role requires precision, craftsmanship, and the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics to deliver exceptional results.
Duties
Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute finish carpentry tasks accurately
Install cabinets, trim, molding, doors, windows, and other woodwork with precision
Perform restoration work on existing structures, ensuring seamless integration with new installations
Handle concrete forming, masonry, roofing, siding, and rebar installation as needed for project completion
Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various carpentry tasks
Apply construction painting, caulking, and sealing techniques to ensure durable finishes
Assist with flooring installation and tile laying to meet project specifications
Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks and maintenance person repairs involving plumbing and electrical experience
Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to safety protocols
Qualifications
Proven experience in carpentry, woodworking, or finish carpentry roles with a strong portfolio of completed projects
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction estimating documents accurately
Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and other construction equipment
Knowledge of concrete forming, masonry, rebar installation, roofing, siding, and flooring installation is preferred
Experience with cabinetry installation and restoration projects is highly desirable
Strong understanding of construction safety standards and protocols
Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or in confined spaces as required
Maintenance Person experience or electrical/plumbing background is a plus
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to craftsmanship and quality standards
