Finerenone Account Specialist - London & Surrounding Area

The Finerenone Account Specialist (FAS) is responsible for achieving sales targets based on a sound business plan and excellent execution. In addition, the FAS will develop and implement customer-focused initiatives using an account planning approach to build Bayer\'s leadership in the Cardio-Renal space. This will be achieved through our exciting product launch and strong entrepreneurial focus in alignment with marketing direction.

This is a perm position, supporting the London, ON & Surrounding Area territory.

What you will do:

  • Analyze business environment to develop, then execute, territory and account specific strategic business plans
  • Identify and build strong relationships with key stakeholders in the territory (Nephrology, Endocrinology, Cardiology, IM, GPs and other HCPs). Map stakeholders within communities to identify decision makers and influencers
  • Leverage knowledge of diabetes, nephrology and CVD, the marketplace, applicable competitors, industry, and cross-functional activities to anticipate and effectively manage business opportunities and challenges
  • Create value with customers, partner with stakeholders to implement solutions that improve patient outcomes
  • Conduct learning events specific to the referral audience
  • Strategically invest and track corresponding results
  • Anticipate potential barriers to achievement of goals and proposes, responsible solutions for success
  • Effectively handles customer objections and exceeds customer expectations with the value they bring to Physicians
  • Collaborate & connect within Bayer, support cross-functional collaboration
  • Adhere to all requirements and Code of Conduct as directed by IMC and Bayer policy guidelines
Who you are:
  • Bachelor\'s degree preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years pharmaceutical sales experience. Previous specialty sales experience an asset
  • Highly committed, determined and results driven. Persists/takes ownership in the face of challenges and setbacks
  • Proven track record of high performance, key account management and customer focus
  • Seeks opportunities to increase digital acumen and promote business through digital means
  • Makes sense of complex information, adapts quickly to changing environments
  • Superior competencies in relationship building & networking; ability to influence stakeholders
  • Strong business acumen. Ability to assess market, draw insights, take risks, and make decisions accordingly
  • Active team player in a cross-functional team, with excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • Continually seeks feedback from peers to improve, learn and be future ready
  • High level of business integrity and ethics
  • Strong computer skills (CRM: Veeva, SFDC; Veeva Engage/MS Teams/Zoom; PowerPoint/Excel/Word; iPad)
  • Proven ability to work effectively in virtual environment
  • C.C.P.E. designation
  • Travel (up to 40%) is required and valid driver\'s license
