You will perform accounting duties as required to support the Finance function as related to Billing, Project Invoicing and Project Support. You will perform the full scope of financial support for operational managers while working under supervision where project set-up, data entry and decisions are occasionally reviewed and/or verified by your manager.

Reporting directly to the Financial Transaction Manager you will bring 1-3 years experience in a similar role with high volume data entry.

This is a permanent opportunity that will be based out of our Calgary office.

What what you be doing?

  • Ensure all employees and our direct service providers\' time is entered as per client contract daily.
  • Aid with the processing of accounts payable, including processing of both billable and non-billable payables and processing of employee expenses
  • You will support ongoing communication with consulting employees and project managers regarding revenue recognition and managing work-in-progress.
  • Produce draft and final invoices; aid consulting employees with accompanying statements/reports as requested by our clients.
  • Receive and register invoices, forms, records, and other documents for data capture.
  • Review payroll entries, name areas of concern, and notify the Supervisor.
  • Help in keeping accurate documentation to charge to clients.
  • Complete all billing tasks associated with labour, equipment, and material.
  • Ensure all client billing requirements are met and enter client-based programs such as Cortex and ADP.
  • Create and monitor field tickets and Labour Equipment Material (LEM).
  • Update all cost trackers with field ticket and billing information.
  • Experience inputting data into computerized databases, spreadsheets, or other software.
Does this sound like you?
  • Have 2+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in an administration position.
  • Have a can-do attitude, excellent work ethic, multi-tasker, and excellent work ethic and a multi-tasker along with problem-solving skills.
  • Strong high-volume data entry skills and Microsoft Office skills. At least intermediate level of ability with Microsoft Excel.
  • Have good organizational skills, acute attention to detail, and the ability to manipulate multiple tasks while still meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a diverse range of people and job functions.
