Reporting to the Senior Manager, Financial Systems, this role requires the ability to work in an agile setting and a team-focused mentality. This position provides opportunities to collaborate with Corporate Finance leaders and other transformation professionals across the enterprise. This role is important to ensure smooth Project delivery and the organization of multiple workstreams and deliverables.This is a 9 month contract position.We believe that time together in the office is important for OMERS and Oxford, the strength of our employees, and the work we do for our pension members. Our flexible hybrid work guideline requires teams to come to the office a minimum of 3+ days per week.Role Responsibilities:Perform Oracle Fusion cloud ERP configuration changesComplete BAU Chart of Accounts (CoA) maintenanceBuild OTBI reports/ BI publisher reportsSupport Boundary Systems Integration using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)Provide support on Oracle Financials modules including Procurement, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Intercompany, and Financial Accounting Hub (FAH)Provide Support for EPM, FCCS, ARCSWork with support team on quarterly releases management and/or testing of new functionality.Define and executes test scripts and test scenariosSupport financial system-dependent elements of key Finance processes (i.e., process of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes)Drive best practices for the Oracle ERP modules to be audit and SOX compliantIdentify opportunities for improvement in operational performance and notify management of issues and problems requiring immediate attentionWorks cross-functionally to analyze, design, and develop business solutionsOther contributions, as the team may need and as opportunities ariseTo succeed in this role, you must have the following qualifications:Minimum 3 years of experience in implementing and supporting Oracle ERP; at least 2 years should be from Oracle Cloud SaaSHands-on experience configuring the following Oracle Cloud applications:ERP Fusion Cloud, including the following modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets and Intercompany, Accounting HubEPM, including FCCS, PCM, ARCSBachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in information systems, Finance/Accounting or other related fields or equivalent job experience3+ years business analysis experience, gathering requirements and documenting process flows for business applications, particularly finance/accounting aspects of ERP systemsExperience with delivering custom reports and/or dashboards using tools such as SQLAdept at writing and running SQL queriesYou demonstrate:Self-motivation and a proactive approach to create positive change;Ability to grasp new concepts quickly, work independently, and produce high-quality work;A people-first focus, with a desire to develop meaningful, trusting relationships with teammates;A sense of urgency, optimism, and a desire to deliver excellence; andStrong orientation towards results.Our story:Founded in 1962, OMERS is one of Canada\xe2\x80\x99s largest defined benefit pension plans, with $128.6 CAD billion in net assets as of December 31, 2023.
