Summary:

Reporting to the VP Finance, the Financial Systems Analyst will be part of a small but mighty team that is constantly seeking out ways to leverage technology to improve processes and deliver value-add information and analysis to leaders across the business. This is a rare opportunity to become the internal NetSuite expert, influence the way the system is used, and work on high impact system implementations. The role is well suited to someone that enjoys a fast-paced team environment where tackling the challenges of a rapidly growing company are embraced with enthusiasm.

The position is based in the Calgary corporate office with a hybrid remote work option.

Schedule:

• The schedule follows normal business hours with extra work hours when required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assume ownership of the NetSuite finance system by leading design and development efforts as well as system administration.
• Scope, build and maintain integrations between NetSuite and the rest of Certarus\xe2\x80\x99 systems using Celigo or other means.
• Develop a deep understanding of financial data architecture and apply that knowledge towards problem solving with best practices in mind.
• Lead system improvement projects by gathering business requirements from various. stakeholders, analyzing the best path forward, and driving timely execution.
• Be a part of Certarus\xe2\x80\x99 drive for innovation: develop new processes and reporting solutions to support the Finance teams\xe2\x80\x99 priorities.
• Monitor and maintain NetSuite platform (system performance, software updates, bug fixes etc.)
• Ensure stability and accuracy of system and integrations by thoroughly testing workflows.
• Develop detailed system documentation and training materials.

Requirements:

• 3+ year\xe2\x80\x99s experience supporting and improving upon business systems.
• Significant NetSuite expertise including experience integrating NetSuite with other systems.
• Experience with Workday Financial Management is an asset.
• Experience working with and querying SQL databases.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate stakeholder discussions.
• Self-starter, with a desire to work in a fast growing, exciting and agile business.
• Exceptional attention to detail and timelines.
• Accounting background with understanding of financial processes an asset.
• Experience with Celigo or other integration platforms an asset.
• Experience with SuiteScript and/or SuiteAnalytics an asset.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (PowerBI / Power Automate) an asset.
