Financial Services Manager

. The Financial Services Manager is the final point of contact for customers completing their vehicle purchase. This role arranges financing, presents warranty and protection products, and ensures all financial documents are completed accurately. This position requires a blend of financial knowledge, customer service excellence and sales acumen to maximize customer satisfaction.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:



Collaborates with the Sales and Accounting teams to complete deals efficiently. Works with customers to secures financing through in-house lenders or partner financial institutions. Presents and sells extended warranties, insurance and other protection products. Finalizes contracts while ensuring all documents are accurate, complete and delivered to appropriate departments and vendors in a timely manner. Promotes all dealership services and products to customers while staying current with financial services offerings and alternatives. Explains financing terms and payment obligations to customers. Reviews credit reports and recommends appropriate financing options. Develops strong relationships with banks, lenders, and insurance providers. Maintains customer relationships through follow-up after the sale. Stays compliant with OEM training and industry regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:



Education.

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent experience preferred.

Experience.

Sales and management experience in the automotive industry preferred. Previous sales or finance experience in the automotive industry is an asset.

Knowledge.

Knowledge of applicable federal, provincial and local regulations pertaining to the automotive industry. Thorough knowledge of bank and insurance terminology and processes.Understanding of credit, lending, insurance and dealership processes.

Customer Service.

Must be genuinely customer-focused and have strong interpersonal skills.

Teamwork.

Ability to collaborate with lenders and all members of the Key Auto Group team.

Technical Skills.

Excellent mathematical skills, including the ability to calculate compound interest. Computer proficiency with ability to work with spreadsheets.

PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:



Financial Services Managers are expected to meet key performance indicators related to sales, funding, training compliance and incentive tracking. Additionally, possessing and maintaining a valid driver's license and providing a criminal record clearance are conditions of employment.

WORKING CONDITIONS:



Fast-paced dealership environment. Handle high-dollar transactions and analytical tasks. Extended hours and Saturday availability required. Regular interaction with customers, lenders and internal teams. High-volume paperwork and computer-based tasks.
