Job Summary:As the Manager of Financial Reporting & Taxation you will have direct leadership and responsibility of all financial reporting functions of the Company. You will perform direct or indirect supervision of all financial and accounting staff, prepare all formal internal and external financial statements and formulate and recommend appropriate accounting policies. This is a very hands on role with supervision of three direct reports. We offer a competitive salary and a great accounting team.Key Function:\xe2\x97\x8f Preparation of annual audited financial statements\xe2\x97\x8f Preparation of Annual Report for shareholder and regulatory authorities\xe2\x97\x8f Preparation of unaudited Quarterly Reports for shareholder and regulatory authorities\xe2\x97\x8f Preparation of monthly financial statements for management and internal purposes\xe2\x97\x8f Preparation of tax returns for all Companies in the consolidated group\xe2\x97\x8f Interfacing with taxation authorities\xe2\x97\x8f Formulating the appropriate Corporate accounting policies and ensuring they are applied in conformance with IFRS\xe2\x97\x8f Staying abreast of all current accounting pronouncements and incorporating them into the Company\'s policies where applicable\xe2\x97\x8f Interfacing with both the external auditors and the audit committee\xe2\x97\x8f Preparation of annual operating budgets and analysis of results against budget\xe2\x97\x8f Analyzing corporate financing needs and recommending solutions to senior management\xe2\x97\x8f Special projects as requestedYou bring:\xe2\x97\x8f Professional Accounting designation (CPA CA)\xe2\x97\x8f Membership in good standing with a Professional accounting body\xe2\x97\x8f 5 - 10 or more years of financial reporting, corporate tax preparation and budgeting experience with progressive responsibility\xe2\x97\x8f Previous supervisory experience is required\xe2\x97\x8f Excellent communication skills, verbal and written\xe2\x97\x8f Analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills\xe2\x97\x8f Proficiency in the use of computerized accounting system, with skills in word processing, spreadsheets, database software and accounting software\xe2\x97\x8f Respect for confidentiality\xe2\x97\x8f Ability to work independently or as a member of a team, and get along with other people\xe2\x97\x8f Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
