Support fiscal policy development and analysis.
Assist in preparing reports and recommendations for senior leadership.
Develop and oversee financial administration principles.
Collaborate with stakeholders to review and develop policies.
Conduct compliance activities to assess policy effectiveness.
Assist in implementing compliance functions.
Stay updated on industry trends and regulations.
Provide guidance and training on financial policies.
Foster a culture of respect and continuous improvement.
QualificationsBachelor\'s degree in business, finance, public sector administration, or related field.
Extensive experience in financial policy, planning, or budget development within large, intricate organizational environments.
Proficient in conducting research, analysis, and employing strategic thinking.
Skilled in crafting various written communications, including reports, policies, and briefing materials.
Familiarity and proficiency with complex financial systems for planning and budgeting purposes.
Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking prowess.
Exceptional oral communication and active listening abilities.
Strong interpersonal skills for fostering productive working relationships.
Outstanding organizational and time management capabilities for handling extensive information and meeting deadlines autonomously.
Alignment with organizational values and ethical standards.
Possession of a professional accounting designation.
Previous experience in public sector or post-secondary organizations is preferred.
Familiarity with compliance auditing or internal audit functions.
Employment DetailsSalary: $75.000 to $90.000 per annum
Benefits: 40 hours weekly, Permanent, Full-time, Onsite
Schedule: 8:00AM to 5:00PM, Monday to Friday
