Intermediate Financial & Operations Analyst
to support our growing team.
What You Will Do
Utility & Cost Analysis
Review monthly utility bills for all buildings.
Identify abnormal spending, leaks, and billing errors.
Prepare cost variance reports and recommend corrective actions.
Expense & Credit Card Review
Analyze company credit card statements.
Flag unusual or duplicate charges.
Categorize expenses and improve expense visibility.
Cash Flow Analysis & Financial Management
Conduct
company-wide cash flow analysis
to support financial planning.
Perform
asset-specific cash flow modelling
for each building and division.
Monitor financial performance against budgets and benchmarks.
Recommend
improvement strategies
to enhance cash flow, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.
Private Mortgage Administration
Track payments, renewals, insurance, and maturity dates.
Ensure mortgage documents are complete and accurate.
Follow up with brokers, borrowers, lawyers, and insurers to keep files current.
Reporting & Special Projects
Build spreadsheets, trackers, dashboards, and analytical tools.
Support senior leadership with financial analysis, research, and ad-hoc projects.
Provide concise summaries and recommendations.
What We're Looking For
3-6 years of experience in finance, operations, accounting, underwriting, or related fields.
Strong financial modelling and Excel/Google Sheets skills.
Excellent analytical ability and high attention to detail.
Strong written communication and the ability to summarize findings clearly.
Organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
Experience in real estate or private lending is an asset.
Must work
in-office
(downtown Vancouver).

Compensation
$65,000 - $75,000 per year
, depending on experience.
