Job Overview


We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounting and financial management. This role is crucial for ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, compliance with regulatory standards, and effective cash management. The Financial Controller will oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and account reconciliation, while providing strategic insights to support organizational goals.

Responsibilities



Oversee the preparation of financial statements in accordance with ASPE Manage all aspects of corporate accounting including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger accounting. Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and maintain accurate records of all financial transactions. Prepare detailed financial reports and analyses to inform decision-making processes. Implement effective cash management strategies to optimize liquidity. Lead budgeting processes and financial forecasting efforts to align with organizational objectives. Utilize accounting software such as Acomba, or Xpert for efficient financial management. Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits and ensure timely completion of audit requirements. Provide guidance on technical accounting issues and ensure adherence to established policies.

Requirements



Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred. Proven experience in public accounting or corporate finance roles Strong knowledge of financial concepts including double entry bookkeeping, account analysis, and financial analysis techniques. Proficiency in financial software applications and advanced Excel skills for data analysis. Excellent understanding of cash management principles and regulatory reporting requirements. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively. Strong communication skills for presenting financial information clearly to stakeholders at all levels. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while demonstrating leadership capabilities.
