Reporting to the President, your duties and responsibilities will include;

  • Establish and update the organization\'s accounting systems, procedures, and policies
  • Compile monthly financial statements
  • Aid the Head of Canadian operations with annual budgeting, planning, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Forecast monthly cash flow and supervise credit and collections processes
  • Compute and track burden rates for cost centers, material surcharges, and allocations for profit and cost centers
  • Verify accuracy in physical inventories and cycle counts, adhering to established procedures
  • Foster financial transparency with the Regional Finance Director and Canadian leadership team
  • Manage both internal and external audit processes
  • Assist the tax department with filings, payments, and the resolution of tax issues
  • Maintain balances for petty cash
  • Validate the accuracy of financial, inventory, and job cost data interfaces
  • Lead special projects, conduct analyses, and support strategic initiatives
  • Generate ad-hoc reports as necessary and fulfill additional assigned duties
  • Travel approximately 10% of the time (domestically and internationally) for meetings and training
Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting/Finance
- CPA designation
- Valid driver\'s license, passport, and the ability to travel to the USA and Europe
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- SAP experience is a must
