ABM College is currently looking for a highly competent, energetic, and exceptionally motivated Financial Controller(FT).

Essential Job Duties:

• Preparing and reviewing financial statements.
• Ensuring tax compliance and working with the tax department of an organization
• Filing tax returns of an organization and acting as an audit representative
• Auditing information and submitting financial reports to stakeholders
• Managing financial activities such as general accounting and cash flow
• Leading an organization\xe2\x80\x99s accounting department or a team of accountants
• Develop and maintain relationships through ongoing communication
• Staying up-to-date with the latest financial and accounting trends and software.
• Other duties as required.

Education and Skills Requirements:

• Member of CPA(Must have)
• At least 5 years of experience working as a CPA
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in reporting financial issues to clients
• Project management skills to plan, execute, and close projects
• Research and analytical skills to understand and interpret financial data
• Technological proficiency
• Leadership skills to oversee the activities of other accountants
• A strong work ethic and keen attention to financial and accounting details

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

8-hour shift

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Calgary, AB T2A 6J9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Education:

• Bachelor\'s Degree (preferred)

Experience:

• Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA): 5 years (required)

License/Certification:

• Chartered Professional Accountant (required)
