Job Summary:
The Financial Controller is responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the organization, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and effective internal controls. This role manages budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors.
Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Analyze financial data and provide insights to senior management.
Support strategic planning and business development initiatives.
Lead and mentor the finance team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent preferred).
Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
An accounting assessment/test will be required.
