Key Accountabilities:

Coreio is looking for a Financial Analyst to join our growing team at our head office in Woodbridge, ON. The Financial Analyst is responsible for financial planning and analysis by collecting, monitoring, studying data and to make recommendations on policies and best practices.

Job Duties:

• Determine cost of operations and perform financial forecasting, reporting and operational metrics tracking
• Identifies financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
• Guide cost analysis during sales and bidding opportunities by providing trends and forecasts; explaining processes and techniques and recommending actions.
• Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support
• Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
• Aid in capital budgeting and expenditure planning process
• Provide recommendations to improve financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; and identifying trends.
• Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data.
• Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards
• Increase productivity by developing automated accounting applications and coordinating information requirements.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience in Business Finance or relevant experience
• Prior experience with IT Service Management or Professional Service company an asset
• College/University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or Business related field
• Accounting designation or MBA an asset
• Proven work experience in a quantitatively-heavy role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving competency
• Strong task and time management skills; able to thrive in fast-paced and dynamic business environment
• Advanced knowledge of Excel
