OVERVIEW

The Financial Analyst will provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support Executive and Senior Management. In this role, the Financial Analyst will ensure proper execution of routine analysis/reports and play an active role in management strategy meetings as well as provide analytical insight that helps guide the strategic decision-making process.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for gathering, computing and analyzing current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditures Prepares data to be used for the reporting of operational, financial, marketing and gaming-related analyses, statistical analysis, ad hoc reporting, database querying, and data enhancement Responsible for accuracy and timeliness of data as well as data integrity Researches, validates and implements advanced statistical and data mining techniques that will be used to develop direct marketing programs Support Senior Management Team and Departments Leads with in-depth analysis Perform other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance with minimum 3 years' experience in a related position A recognized accounting designation (CA, CMA or CGA) is preferred Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (i.e. Power Query, Macros) Casino/Hospitality knowledge would be an asset Individual should be analytical, flexible, team-oriented, and have excellent interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task and highly organized Experience with analytic tools/software and some hands-on database experience strongly preferred Experience with Microsoft Navision or Jet Reports would be an asset Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated Communication Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to communicate effectively in a group setting or presentation setting with associates, upper management and guests

CERTIFICATES AND/OR LICENSES REQUIREMENTS

Ability to obtain a valid GPEB registration Ability to complete all BCLC required trainings Serving it Right Certification

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Able to lift, handle, and transport materials that are over 20lbs Required to sit, stand and walk during working hours Must be able to work extended hours during the week and on weekends is often required to meet deadlines
