Robert Half is looking for a smart, self-motivated, resourceful Financial Analyst to join the lean, entrepreneurial Finance team of our diversified real estate client. As the Financial Analyst reporting to the Director, Finance, you would be responsible for:

- The preparation, management, and analysis of project proformas

- Management and analysis of project budgets including variance analysis

- Planning, forecasting, analysis and management of project cash requirements

- Management reporting and presentations to Senior Leadership

- Financial modelling and analysis for shareholders and stakeholders

- Building and analyzing models for potential land acquisitions and/or divestitures

Requirements

As the ideal candidate you are designated accountant looking to follow the career path of finance versus accounting; you are able to multi-task and transition between tasks seamlessly. You are detail oriented and thorough in your work but are \xe2\x80\x9cheads-up\xe2\x80\x9d and able to participate in project meetings at short notice. You are a self-starter and are self-motivated yet are collaborative and value working as a part of a highly effective team. You are proactive with your time and are able to prioritize tasks efficiently, all with a sense of humour at the ready.

While experience in real estate would be ideal, it is not required. However, strong excel skills coupled with above average communication skills are a must have.
