As the Financial Analyst you will provide analytics and reporting to drive better decision making around different company initiatives. What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Do:

• Assist in analytics to support company\xe2\x80\x99s new and ongoing initiatives
• Assist in preparation and distribution of management reporting for Tour Operator and Airline divisions
• Develop KPI and other reporting to assist management with evaluation of new/existing programs
• Analysis included but not limited to:
  • Revenue and Cost Forecasting Analysis
  • Historical trend analysis
  • Budgeting and variance analysis
  • Competitor Analysis
• Extract, analyze, and collate data from a variety of sources to create both regular and ad hoc reporting and draw viable/actionable business conclusions
• Assist with monitoring performance of initiatives against established operational and financial targets and approved budget
• Provide support to management in identifying process improvement opportunities.
• Assist management with execution of new process/process improvement.
• Assist with month end/quarter end/year end activities as well as annual audit.
• Other ad hoc projects as required

What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Need:

• 2-3 years of related experience
• Enrolment in CGA or CMA designations an asset
• Prior Airline experience would be considered a strong asset
• University Degree in Business Administration or Commerce or Computer Science
• Business Objects knowledge a definite asset
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software (especially Excel & MS Access)
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Access an asset
• Ability to assimilate/ summarize a large amount of information from multiple sources and present in a value-added form
• Enrolment in accounting designations an asset
• Effective team player
• Attention to details
• Achievement oriented; must be able to juggle multiple tasks, tight deadlines and changing priorities
• Self-starter who takes initiative and thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable when dealing with change
